Key Responsibilities :

  • Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical design engineers across multiple simultaneous bulk material handling projects.
  • Equipment Design : Oversee the structural and mechanical design of customized material handling equipment, with specialized expertise in belt weigh feeders, belt feeders, screw feeders, vibrating feeders, and shuttle conveyors.
  • Engineering Calculations : Conduct and verify calculations for system sizing, drive selection, shaft and bearing life, and structural integrity.
  • Design Standards : Ensure all designs and 2D/3D deliverables comply with relevant Indian and international engineering standards (IS, CEMA). 
  • Design Approval : Coordinate with consultant and end user to obtain approval for drawings and design calculations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with production, procurement, and site erection teams to ensure manufacturability and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Requirements :

  • 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in the mechanical design of bulk material handling systems and conveyor equipment.
  • B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution. 
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of designing belt weigh feeders, screw feeders, vibrating feeders, shuttle conveyors, and associated transfer chutes.
  • Strong grasp of CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS ) and specialised sizing software (e.g. Belt Analyst ).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and complete orders from acceptance to dispatch of materials.
  • Monitor order status, track progress, and ensure timelines are met.
  • Coordinate internally with design, production, purchase, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
  • Coordinate with clients/consultants along with the sales team for approval of drawings and documents.
  • Conduct contract review and clarify all technical points to ensure correct and complete drawings.
  • Resolve technical issues with clients to expedite execution and approval activities.
  • Coordinate with clients/consultants/third party inspectors for : Review and approval of drawings, Final material inspection, Dispatch clearance.
  • Ensure all required quality and inspection documents are prepared and submitted on time.
  • Maintain proper records of contracts, approvals, drawings, and inspection reports.
  • Provide regular updates to the sales / project team on order status and issues, if any.

Requirements :

  • 1–3 years of experience in order execution / project coordination in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for dealing with clients, consultants, and inspection agencies.
  • Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail, and a sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple orders simultaneously.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Control Systems, or related Engineering fields.
