Major Contract for Advanced Gravimetric Weigh Feeders at SAIL IISCO Steel Plant

We are pleased to announce the signing of a major contract with SMS group India for the supply of 20 Advanced Gravimetric Weigh Feeders for the Stamp Charging Machines (SCM) at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) - IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur.

The project incorporates advanced digital communication technology to enable seamless integration of field sensors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and the supervisory PLC. This architecture significantly reduces the requirement for conventional discrete hardware and extensive field cabling, while enhancing overall system efficiency and maintainability.

To further strengthen communication reliability and system availability, the solution incorporates a redundant PROFINET interface for integration with the SCM PLC.
